The 'Brooch' Project

Each year the Glasgow School of Art residents have an annual exhibition, this year we had the top floor of Glasgow's iconic Lighthouse Building. I had an idea to set myself a short project to display during the exhibition. I would make a series of small pins inspired by the Caithness Landscape, £15 from each brooch would be donated to the Caithness Broch project to support all their hard work that goes on in the county. I made 35 in total and the majority has been send out all over the UK, to Ireland and as far as Canada! You can find the last few remaining brooches at the Coo's Tail Gallery in Thurso.

2017 is flying in and I am patiently waiting to finish the new collection after lots of trying and testing. Lots of fun new designs are emerging in my wooden collection and I have even started to create wooden wall panels which I am loving! 2017 is looking to be a fun and busy year. I am working on new designs and a new silver collection due to launch in April. My new 'Drift' collection is inspired by the tide, it's a beautiful linear collection focusing on reflections... So watch this space!
